Pre Meeting "Memo" to Comsr's:
: "Twenty bids out for auditing services"
: Opening on the "Board of Zoning Adjustment", Twn. Mgr. suggest "Douette
Pryce" next in line to fill that position. Not so sure?
Why would you wan't a subject of a Zoning Action a rep.? Past
experience/ maybe?
: Quisinberry "Executive Session" postponed due to mayor (super lawyer)
unable to attend. "Executive session meaning only
Comsr's & Attorneys allowed to attend.
: "Approx. 15 property owners sent notices to get rid of Melalecca &
Brazillian pepper trees".
: Twn Mgr. expecting a 5% reduction in property values. If that happens
reduces revenue to $585,000,000.00. Town Mgr.
might have to take a pay cut as example.
: Offshore drilling resolution #703, item 5 b, we say short sighted
approach to a deadly problem. See today's Stuart News piece
about "buying bullets to kill American young servicemen & women!"

Drill Baby Drill ! Another "OPEC" brewing?
"A perfect storm is developing... whereby supply crunch meets record
demand head on, and savvy traders like us take
huge profits (more on that, below, in a note from
Wealth Daily founder Brian Hicks, who's been making everyone here in the
Baltimore office re-read his best-selling
book, Profit from the Peak.) And for very good reason:
We watched oil hit $87 a barrel this week. And with higher oil demand
projections coming out of the Intl.
Energy Agency, tightening refinery supplies, and the whole Iran
scenario, we could easily see $100 to $110 oil.
Barclays expects crude to "flirt with $100 this year," and anticipates
an average price of roughly $140 by 2015.
Bank of America analysts see oil nailing $105 this year... with $150
not far behind — possibly by 2014 —
thanks in part to increased demand from China and India. (China recently
overtook the U.S. car
market, and India has billions of people waiting to buy cars).
Tightening refinery supplies could push up prices ahead of U.S. summer
driving season. Saudi Aramco,
for one, has already upped its selling prices for all crude grades for
U.S. customers in April."
To those to young to remember OPEC and it's devasting effect on our
economy check it out here:
Petroleum crisis of 1973
A brief example of how it affected small business, the writers. My
salesmen (3) drove pick ups.
The OPEC crisis left local service stations without fuel.
My salesmen first priority was to find fuel. When they did they called
into the office and in turn the office
relayed the location to the other salesmen who drove to that gas
station. Of course didn't matter much because
you couldn't sell your product anyway! There was virtually no
construction market. Tourism?!
Who could go anywhere with NO GAS! The still dependant American & Free
world consumer is still hostage to
the OPEC countries! We have the resources to get independent but the
environmentalist still manage to stop
drilling in America and keep us HOSTAGE! PS, the super tankers that
pass our coast daily pose
more of a threat than drilling 3,5 or 12 miles off our coast!
Get Real please!
